What do you want to get into..
I think the answer to that is writing songs for performers... Writing songs for me and other artists who fit the song.. Oh yea learn some Jazz standards on piano.. I love 'torch songs'
eg Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone eg'...black coffee...love that hand me down brew...' Classic songs I'd love to revisit with a modern feel...

Anywhere else? No..why would I want to!

What made you start writing?
Love, love love..music is a form of self expression..as well as frustration eg my second song was about the angst of being a woman and wanting to be 'loved like a woman'... do you know what its like to be a woman...I want to be loved with sincerity, honesty ,openness, tenderness..'How many woman get what they really want from relationships?

How old were you when you started writing?
I started writing lyrics when I was 21. Started writing songs at about age 25 I think. I've always written poetry and stories. I wrote books of stories when I was a kid and always had my head in one when I was younger. I had a pretty active imagination and I think I've always been pretty 'dreamy'.

Do you play any instruments?
Piano and guitar.

How long for? I had piano lessons at age 13 and picked it up again recently. Taught myself guitar when I was about 21.

What is your favourite instrument and why?.. Piano..cos I'm in love with her. She sings to me...I give her words and she gives me the chords, then I write the melody. She gives me the words too if I get lost for them. The music tells me what to sing.

Who Is your your absolute favorite artist?
Tori Amos, I think she is a musicial genius, her melody, sense of rhythmn and production is out of this world. She is pretty bizarre too which I really love.
